Challenge
Construction of a strategic decarbonization plan based on the completion of a carbon inventory and the evaluation of decarbonization measures of a petrochemical (rubber) industry.
Mitsidi Performance
Conduct data surveys with the client to calculate the carbon inventory; conduct on-site visits to assess decarbonization possibilities, assessing their impacts and costs; and develop decarbonization strategies considering the impact of macroeconomic scenarios up to 2050.
Results
Scope 1 and 2 carbon inventory;
Technical and financial assessment of approximately 15 decarbonization measures, with a focus on thermal energy (Scope 1).
